To own an art collection is wonderful. At the same time complex. Can one insure an unique object or is it irreplaceable? What happens to valuable works of art when the heirs are not interested ? A sensible collector takes care that things are well organised. A normal insurance may not be sufficient. The magazine 'Verzamelen' talks to two specialists in the field of art management and insurances: Johan Bosch van Rosenthal, owner of Art Consult, and Geert Offergelt, head of Private Insurance of ABN AMRO MeesPierson.
